2024 Summer Ball Registration

We are looking to have a Minor, Major, and Junior Team participating this year for Summer Ball!

Playing summer ball consists of practices during the week and tournament-style games during the weekends up to the August long weekend.
Teams must participate in 4 tournaments in order to qualify for the final tournament weekend (August long weekend).

The cost of summer ball is $70.00, it will be discussed more at the meeting and this includes a custom jersey that your player gets to keep.

Travel and Hotel expenses are not covered by Calgary East Little League each family is responsible for those fees, but Fundraising before and during the season can help with these fees.

Depending on numbers we may need to do tryouts for divisions. Do not pay your fees until you have received an email you are on the team. Once you are on the team you willhave to pay your fees right away so we can order Jerseys.

Please Note: There will be a MANDATORY PLAYER MEETING FRIDAY MAY 10, 2024 6pm at the Jack James Majors Field for anyone interested in playing. If you do not attend you WILL NOT be allowed to play Summer Ball.
Registrations will not be accepted after May 15, 2024

Volunteer Position - Head Coach *

As your role of Head Coach, you are responsible for the Operations of the Team. Your key responsibilities include Planning and organizing all practices and games. Ensuring that all team players are being trained/coached in baseball skills as well as an understanding of baseball systems and team play appropriate to the level of the players. Assigning parent volunteers to cover all the specific roles to support you and the assistants and the players throughout the season. You will be required to register as a coach via 2023 Coach Registration. Please note that all coaches are required to have a backcheck done, CalEast will cover the cost of the backcheck. This position covers the minimum volunteer 20 hours
